Pray the Prophet's Prayer
ِAdvice on inaudible recitation of Al-fatihah

Prayer is the bond of the servant with his lord.It is incumbent upon every muslim, five times daily Must be observed no matter the circumstances of the person except in case of Insanity. Prayer has significant effect in the life of the individual and well-being of the society at large. Thus, we have collective obligation to preserve it in accordance with the teachings of the prophet (peace and blessing of Allah be upon him ) as practiced and demonstrated by our pious predecessors. The prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded his ummah thus:"pray as you have seen me pray" I have carefully read this treatise or summary guide on purification and prayer, compiled by brother Mustapha Bulu against the prophetic command aforementioned accordingly "

Menstrual and Post-Natal blood flows are Allah’s Decree which women experience at specific times for specific duration. And because it is a Divine Will, Allah (the Mighty & Majestic) has placed prohibitions and restrictions for women to observe during the periods of the blood flows. Concerning this matter, Allah (the Most High) said in the Holy Quran, "They ask you concerning menstruation. Say: that is an Adha (a harmful thing for a husband to have a sexual intercourse with his wife while she is having her menses) therefore keep away from women during menses and go not unto them till they have been purified (from menses and have taken a bath) ..." (Qur'an 2: 222).

Prostration for Forgetfulness is “two prostrations” that the one praying makes in order to compensate for his mistakes, occurring in the prayer, due to pforgetfulness. The two prostrations are sanctioned as compensation for specific mistakes or doubts and must be applied in accordance with their established principles to preserve the structure and validity of the prayer. The prostrations are done after the Tashahhud, either before Salam or after Salam depending upon the nature of the error. And for emphasis, note that there is no Tashahhud after the prostration. Its causes are three:

This Booklet is essentially extracted from the most famous book on the Prophet’s prayer: “The Salah: The Prophet’s Prayer Described” by Imam Al-Albani (may Allah grant him mercy). The Prophet’s Prayer Described has indeed amply captured the Prophet’s prayer from Takbir to Salam; as though you have seen him pray. Thus, in this Booklet, we refer to it as the “Main Text.” It is noteworthy that in this presentation, while maintaining the content as in the “Main Text”, we have slightly modified our approach in order to highlight the significance of the constituent parts of the prayer. We believe, this is an added benefit to the reader. Accordingly, we have identified and emphasised the pillars and the obligations for the reader to be mindful of their consequences on the validity of his/her prayer, in case of deliberate omission or duplication and forgetfulness. We have also specified, at each point, the third constituent element of the prayer; the emphatic Sunnah acts. They are the actions which connect and perfect the structure of the prayer.

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered that “When you stand for prayer perform ablution perfectly." And a perfect ablution is that: i) which is performed exactly in the manner taught by the Prophet (peace & blessings of Allah be upon him); ii) in which the parts of the ablution are painstakingly washed, with no spot left unwashed; and iii) which is sincerely done for the sake of Allah (i.e. with Ikhlas). Go through this Treatise for your guidance on the Prophet's Manner of ablution.

This compilation of supplications and remembrances (Adhkār) in the prayers, authentically established from the Prophet [peace & blessings of Allah be upon him] has been extracted from the book “The Salah: The Prophet’s Prayer Described: ‘[From the Takbīr to the Taslīm as Though You Have Seen Him Pray]’” by Imam Muhammad Nāṣir al-Dīn al-Albānī (may Allah have mercy on him). The main purpose is to facilitate its memorization by students being taught the practical performance of Prophet’s prayer in schools. But it equally very useful for adults who are keen in learning every aspects of the Prophet’s prayer. In view of its significance we also urge our Imams to teach these supplications and remembrances in their Mosques. Thus, if we are able to preserve them, we shall keep the verbal actions of our prayers as close to the Prophet’s prayer as possible..
